Periodically, I plan to create and post new lessons here for the purpose of new users to CIL Manager, kind of like a “Crash Course” type guide. Check back here every now and then for practices guides you can use to keep your skills up-to-date or help train a new employee. Keep in mind, this is coming from the perspective of one who hasn’t been working with this program very long… I won’t ever use big PhD style words or any garbage like that. My goal is to make life easier from everyone.
I recommend reading each of them (or even printing them out) as I often make references to my other guides while writing my newest lessons; I don’t do this to inconvenience you, as when possible I’ll review said lessons in the guide, but rather to encourage that you remember what I’ve written because I really do feel it’ll help make your life easier. Also worthy of noting is that if you’ve spoken with me, you’ll realize I have a rather unique (and dry) sense of humor and tend to make little cracks here and there… these guides are no different then a conversation with me and contain much personal dialogue (to circumvent the fact that the info you read in a typical guide is completely fake because no one talks like that).
That being said, let the learning commence!
Note: All the Lesson guides I create will be brought up automatically in your browser in Adobe PDF format; therefore, it goes without saying you’ll need Adobe Acrobat to read the files. Most computers have a version of Acrobat on them by default, but if you don’t have it you can easily get a free copy from the Adobe website – Adobe’s Website – Also, I find that the files are best viewed at around 94% of their original size; this allows all the text to fit perfect on the screen without making it too small.
